More of the Same

Yes, yes, yes, I know.  Dogs with frisbees is not a new theme for me.  What can I say?  It's Friday, it's been a busy week, I'm tired, and the girls love their frisbee time.

Our weather has been very warm, and our snow is mushy in the afternoons (and vanishing quickly) - Fi loves to pounce into the snow.

And, of course, Abby did her Flying Doodle thing.

And there were many zoomies...

Tug-of-war shots are not as easy as you might think, as the tugger is always moving... (Which would be why the spot between Fi's eyes is in focus, rather than her eyes themselves - which is always the goal...)

This is Abby's, "If I don't look directly at you, you can't call to me to come inside because I can't hear you if I'm not looking directly at you, even though my hearing is Just Fine" face.  It's also know as her 'Shifty-Eyed Fluffy Puppy' face.

Even More Frisbee Action

I'm dragging - it's been a long week and I'm worn out.  So while I was hoping to get some indoor big aperture photos of the girls, it was all I could do to just get some frisbee photos.  And the girls were totally fine with that!

There was leaping...

Fun with the Nifty-Fifty

This afternoon was cloudy, but I was in the mood for some action shots, so I broke out the 50mm, opened the aperture to almost wide-open (f/2.2) and started throwing frisbees.  Needless to say, a good time was had by all!

Abby is the queen of photobombing - especially when Fi is in action!

Not Really Feeling it Today

What can I say?  I'm not really feeling it today.  Which could explain the B&W and the dreary feel I was going for.

Bokeh and Some More Fun with Presets

First the bokeh.  When I first started this 365 adventure almost a year ago, one of the first things I saw that I thought was so cool was the bokeh Christmas light shots.  Lacking a big aperture lens, I couldn't really get the super cool shots I saw online.   While I won't say this is high art, I'm finally able to get the bokeh lights.  Now I just need to be creative with the style!

Frosty was readily available as a model!

I also played around with some presets; by the time I got my afternoon photos, the sun was behind our hill, and so I like to experiment with the various presets to see how the images come out.
