Even More Frisbee Action

Alas, the last day of the long weekend, and I had a bunch of stuff to get done to get ready to get back to work (and I am still working on the annual dog calendar), so my photos were limited to Frisbee action.  Not that that's a bad thing....  And the Doodle Launcher was in fine form today, so all was good!

Yet More Frisbee Action

We all had a bit of a slow afternoon, but the girls did need their frisbee action, and who am I to deny them anything?

Oh, and the Doodle Launcher seems to be working well, too!

Frisbee Action

The girls have had a very exciting weekend, with Gary's mother and sister in town, so I've been trying to work off some of that excitement with additional frisbee action.

 

I'm not sure how well the 'burning off excess energy' plan worked, as they still seemed to have plenty of energy to demand scratchies from their grandmother.

So when I went upstairs to get our little Christmas tree, I roped the girls into a few studio shots (not that it helped with the excess energy, either).

Yes, had I taken a few more test shots, so I could make adjustments with the lighting, this would have come out better.  In my defense, the test shots I did take were fine, but they were also sans doggies. More test shots would not have necessarily made the positioning of the doggies any better, as that was on-the-fly, so to speak.  Ah well.

Today was quite warm and windy, but the girls didn't seem to mind playing in the mushy snow.

Back in Black

If that doesn't immediately cue AC/DC in your brain, then you are either my parents (Hi Mom!) or you've been living in a rock music-proof box for several decades...  *ahem*

There was light snow this afternoon, and I had a busy day at work, so rather than messing around with the water-proof hood for the camera, I decided to get the girls into the studio and get a few shots.

More Snow, More Frisbee Action

The storm has headed out of our neck of the woods, but the snow last night and this morning gave the girls more snow for afternoon frisbee action.

Sing it with me.... "There's no zoomies like snow zoomies!"

In addition to chasing frisbees, Fi also had a grand time catching snowballs.

And the girls felt the need to give me big, sad eyes when I told them it was time to go in...

However, but this point I already had snow in my shoes, and had to be the Mean Mom and lure the girls back inside so they could melt all over the blankets on the bed.  That'll teach me, huh?
