Project 365 - Day 120

A few photos from this morning's walk.

Spring has sprung, and the daffodils are out!

And there was a hot air balloon out, too. An absolutely beautiful morning!

Project 365 - Days 117, 118,* and 119

Day 117 - I got my 2nd vaccine shot on the afternoon of day 117, but I had a good walk with the dogs in the morning, and even felt good enough after the shot to dash out to Le Creuset outlet store to pick up a pan.

This was the day after our latest snow storm, and the snow was still in the mountains.

Day 118 - The vaccine knocked me out the next day. I could barely get out of bed, I was achy, and exhausted.  But, the dogs still have to go out, and I was able to snap a picture of the Crazy Black Dog.

Day 119 - I felt much better today.  Still a bit tired, but much better than yesterday. I actually managed to do some yoga this morning, although I think the dogs were a bit worried that I might decide to take a nap rather than feed them breakfast. Needless to say, they got breakfast.

And after a dog walk and work, I made one of my new favorite meals, tofu stir fry, using my new Le Creuset braiser, perfect for browning tofu, cooking Impossible burgers, and other yummy dinners.

The first Le Creuset pan that I've actually bought, and wasn't a gift. Yes, it had to be in the classic 'flame' color.  (The lady at the store told me it was the 'original' color - no surprise to me since my parents have had flame colored pans since the beginning of time.)

And then I took the dogs out for some after-dinner crazies. There was major ear flappage.

And much roaching on the grass.

And I don't know what these two are thinking, and it's probably just as well.

Project 365 - Day 116

Snow Day!

It's April in Utah, so a wet, snowy day is not unexpected.

And the girls were dressed for the weather (although Lucy-Fur didn't want to look at the camera, so she let Daisy work the "woe is me" look).

Lucy-Fur was quite happy to snooze by the upstairs sliding glass door.

And Daisy decided she'd try out the serious/dignified look.

I actually kind of like the Black Dog with Guitar Case Background look.

After I finished work today, the girls and I spent a little more time in the snow.

Project 365 - Day 115

Gary's band members are all fully vaccinated (I get my second shot on Tuesday, so I was wearing a mask for these photos...)

I found it really interesting how much the drummer watched Gary.

They were definitely "on a mission from Dog"!

Project 365 - Days 113 & 114

Day 113.

This photo didn't come out the way I saw it, but there you have it.

This one came out more like I expected it would.

And this one definitely came out as expected!

Day 114

My yoga buddy for the morning, not really buying my story about needing to do yoga before breakfast.

Another sign that winter is definitely over (even if we get more snow!).  You may remember these same skis from January 19th

Project 365 - Days 111 & 112

Day 111.

Yesterday (Day 111) was a Very Long day. I had a meeting at 8am, a meeting at 11am, a meeting at 4:30pm, and yet another meeting at 6pm. In between all those meetings, I had actual work to get done, dogs to walk, and dinner to make. So, it was a hectic day.  As such, the only photos I took yesterday were some not very good yoga photos (the yoga was okay, but I didn't really have the camera set up at the best angles for the various poses.

But hey, they are still photos.

Too bad the camera wasn't at a better angle. This wasn't a terrible dancer pose.

Day 112.

Another busy day, but I was able to get a few photos on the walk (I wasn't racing to get home to a meeting, like I was yesterday).  Today is Earth Day, so I thought I'd try to get a couple of outdoor photos.  It was as stunning day!

My little camera isn't exactly the best thing for catching birds in flight, but it was fun watching them catch a thermal and cruise around for a while!

And, of course, since I didn't get very good yoga photos yesterday, I had to try again this morning.

A lotus variation - I am laughing because I'm about ready to topple over!

I really like this pose - it doesn't look very comfortable, but when my core is engaged, it really feels good, and gives a nice hamstring stretch!

And the toughest, but most rewarding pose of the day - double dog scratchies!

Project 365 - Days 109 & 110

Day 109.

So, yeah, today was The Day - which meant yesterday was the Super Miserable Day.  (Not eating all day was definitely the most miserable part.  All of my friends got whiny texts from about how I was starving to death!)

Day 110.  The actual day of the colonoscopy.  I had a spot in the morning where I was done with prep, but it wasn't quite time to head off to the clinic, so I took the dogs outside, and was able to get a back-lit Lucy-Fur!
