Project 365 - Days 179-181

Day 179 - Monday 28 June

The girls looking all dramatical.

And the girls being their usual selves.

Day 180 - Tuesday 29 June

Having recovered from my Mohs' surgery (to remove the fatty "tumor" from my back), I'm back to my yoga-ing self.

Day 181 - Wednesday 30 June

Testing out some props for the animal shelter tomorrow - going with an Olympics theme, as well as an 'everyone win with pet adoption' theme.  I don't think the girls are too impressed with my cheap medals.  *sheesh*

"Mom, I could be barking at squirrels.  Why am I doing this? Oh yeah, snacks... They'd better be really good snacks..."

Daisy thinks her medal should be bigger than Lucy's since she's older!

Project 365 - Days 175-178

Day 175, Thursday 24 June

There were mysterious objects in the sky today.

Apparently, they are called 'rain clouds'.  We haven't seen anything like this in ages!

And we actually got another intriguing event - water falling from the sky!  Not enough to do much about the drought, but it helped the lawn.

This unusual occurrence didn't seem to faze the Crazy Black Dog.

Day 176, Friday 25 June

Lucy-Fur wasn't bother by the rain either, I just liked the Black Dog photos on Thursday.  On Friday I played around a bit with my 35mm Art lens. I actually think I need to calibrate it, using the nifty calibrator thingy it came with - something to do on my vacation week. I think it is front-focusing a bit.

Somehow, this lens also makes them both look so innocent.  Lucy-Fur is a sweetie, and so is Daisy, but Daisy will absolutely sneak up on you and stick her tongue in your ear if you aren't paying attention....

Day 177, Saturday 26 June

Don't ask me what Daisy is doing here.  Maybe she thought it was time for more yoga photos, and my remote shutter release for my phone had dead batteries.

Day 178, Sunday 26 June

Just a few photos of the girls because it's late and I don't want to tack yet another day on to this post.

I think Lucy-Fur is playing dead here.

Project 365 - Days 172 & 173 & 174

I keep trying to post this, but I don't finish before I go to bed, and so now we've got multiple days.

Day 172

Crazy Black Dog.
Just calling it like we see it.

Looks like a smirk to me!

And yet, she's so stunning!

Day 173

The weather has been pretty hot and dry as of late, so bitey-face has been a bit more low-key. Not less teeth, just less flying through the air.

All the action with less exertion!

Day 174

More of the girls.

Project 365 - Days 170 & 171

Day 170

Some photos of one of Gary's guitars.

Day 171

Dorkadoodle sisters!

Daisy looks crazier than usual in this photo.

Glee club? Joint virtual dental exams? Who knows.

I'm not sure which way is up.

Project 365 - Day 169

Super snooter shooter!

It's been hot, so the bitey-face action has been pretty much non-existent. Instead, there is a lot of hanging out in the shade.

Project 365 - Days 165 - 168

It has been another crazy week, so I'm just catching up now!

Day 165 - Monday, 14 June

Our marmot friend.

Day 166 - Tuesday, 15 June

This was an animal shelter day.  I always love shelter days - it's a nice break from my day job, and it's always amazing to hear that some of my photos helped dogs get adopted.  Photos of two dogs from a couple of weeks ago caught the eyes of prospective families, and after meeting, both dogs were adopted.  I'm still working on this week's photos, but here are a few.

Yes, we were on a flower kick!

Day 167 - Wednesday, 16 June

Happy birthday, Mom!

I've been working on the shelter photos, so the only photos I got were me celebrating being able to do some yoga after getting my stitches removed. (I still am not allowed to fully bend over yet, so my yoga is somewhat limited, but it's nice to get moving again!)  And yes, In Dog We Trust!

Day 168 - Thursday, 17 June

A random Lucy-Fur photo, as I have to get back to the animal shelter photos - I photographed 20 dogs on Tuesday!
