I see this guardrail and the kink in the road every day (twice a day, actually), and I'm fascinated by it. I haven't quite figured out why I am so intrigued; possibly it is the seemingly unnecessary kink in the road, or the way the guardrail leans out and then straightens up. But I'll keep looking at it until I figure out why I'm so intrigued.
There was a controlled burn going on across the canyon. There was absolutely no wind this morning (not the same case this afternoon), so I think they were trying to get the burn done and put out quickly.
And preparations for my birthday continue... I found candles!
And for some reason, I find my stack of yoga blankets to be a comforting, soothing sight.
