It Was a Dark and Stormy Night

Well, actually, it is a dark and stormy night, but when I took the pictures, it was just overcast and windy. But "overcast and windy" doesn't have the same ring.  Since it was overcast out, I thought I'd use a flash on the porch to see what I could get.  I really like using the flash to brighten outdoor photos (even when 'outdoor' is on the porch).

I'm still learning, but I'm pleased with these results - the girls are 'illuminated' without heavy shadows.
