Fort Douglas Cemetery

On my lunch break today I went over to the Fort Douglas cemetery; it's a still-active cemetery for military and families.  The cemetery is the final resting place of soldiers, their families, civilians and prisoners of war.
Today was a cloudy, windy day, and I got most of the shots in 'monochrome' because it just felt right.  Some of the photos have been further enhanced to give a 'heavy' feel to them.

There are quite a few 'unknown' graves - I like that the 'unknowns' are given a full headstone and plot like everyone else.  The flag in this photo was actually placed by the headstone behind the 'Unknown', but with a strong wind, it looks like it is for the Unknown.

Day 91/365.
