Cone-Free!

Fi's follow-up appointment with the vet today went very well.  They removed her sutures and everything looks very good.   She's licking a bit, but that is no great surprise - she's still a bit itchy, and frankly, I think she's licking simply because she can!  It has been a very long two weeks, but hopefully this will take care of all of Fi's chronic urinary tract infection issues and she can live a happy, antibiotic-free life!

Needless to say, it has been a stressful two weeks, but everyone is very happy to have survived it.  Although I think Fi is a little disappointed that her attempts to contact the Mother Ship to pick up Abby were fruitless! Just kidding; Abby has been very good with Fi while she was on the injured reserve list, and Abby gave Fi a very bouncy welcome when we got back from the vet's office.

Cone-free and happy!

Happy, happy girl!

Fluffy puppy, ready to play with her sister!

The view from the couch is much better without a cone!

Shifty-eyed fluffy puppy!
