A brief moose interlude.
A cloudy day with a tiny bit of new snow. We're supposed to have a good storm coming in tomorrow (Thursday) evening through Friday and Saturday. The moose were out to get some breakfast before preparing for the storm. (Don't ask me what moose do during a snowstorm other than get snowed upon....)
We assume this is a Mom/yearling pair - probably the same pair we've seen in the section of the neighborhood before. There were two other moose today, one in the lower part of the neighborhood, hiding out of camera view, and another moose on this same hillside but farther away, and I couldn't get a good photo. But the moose are definitely on the move!
