Project 365 - Days 135 & 136

Day 135

Random photos from the walk.

The aspens are starting to leaf out; the oaks are still sleeping.

A pair of crows - good thing it wasn't more than 2, as 3+ crows is a murder.  (Seriously.)

And some random photos from my yoga area.

Black dog.

Yoga blankets.

Bolsters.

Day 136.

On the walk today we saw 7 turkey vultures cruising around on the thermals, and pausing on the rocks.  (A group of flying vultures is called a 'kettle' in case you wanted to know, and a group of vultures perched on something is a committee, which probably says something about Congress....)  I'm still trying to figure out the best way to find/track the birds when they are flying around, and to a lesser degree, trying to hold the camera still when the birds are mostly still, but it was amazing to see them!  And I was never really able to get more than 2 of them on camera at the same time - definitely operator error - but it's so mesmerizing to watch them soaring around!

See the one on the rock in the lower right corner?

If you look closely, you can see why they are called turkey vultures - they sort of look like wild turkeys. And these two are getting ready for a committee meeting!

Our lone, extremely resilient tulip.
